FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention includes the housing connected to the reducer and having inner conical surface; at that, lower part of the housing is made in the form of conical guide cone. In the housing cavity there installed is catching device, in the form of conical basket with three slots for three balls. Device owing to conical bowl provides the possibility of aligning the broken end of the rod along the housing centre and its passing through the catching device with further jamming of emergency rod, when the arrangement is being uplifted.
EFFECT: simple design, reducing the costs for the device manufacture, possibility of carrying out the works on catching and removing emergency rods of any diametre.
