FIELD: processes for welding without preliminarily heating constructions of cold resistant low-alloy steels.
SUBSTANCE: electrode is designed for welding constructions of cold resistant low-alloy steels having limit yield 235 - 390 MPa and operating at temperatures lower than -60°C. Electrode includes low-alloy rod on which coating is applied. Said coating contains next ingredients, mass %: marble, 34 - 52; fluorspar, 9 - 25; quartz sand, 6 - 15; titania, 3 - 15; ferrosilicon, 3 - 15; ferromanganese, 3 - 15; liquid sodium glass, 23 - 28 (to mass of dry mixture); iron minimum, up to 5.
EFFECT: good welding-technological characteristics of electrode providing lowered trend of seam metal to porosity, improved mechanical parameters of seam metal.
