FIELD: manufacture of electrodes for welding high-strength low-alloy steels.
SUBSTANCE: electrodes are designed for welding high-strength low-alloy steels with yield limit 400 - 600 MPa and they have metallic rod of wire of given mark. Coating contains next relation of components, mass %: marble, 35.2 -48.6: fluorspar, 17.0 - 24.0; quartz sand, 4.0 - 10.0; rutile concentrate, 6.-12.0; iron powder, 10.0 - 15.0; nickel powder, 0.4 - 0.8; complex master alloy 8.0 - 12.0; liquid sodium glass ( to mass of dry mixture), 23.0 - 28.0. Complex master alloy contains ingredients in next relation, mass %: titanium, 25.00 - 35.00; silicon, 2.00 - 6.00; aluminum, 9.00 - 15.00; manganese, 8.00 - 12.00; cerium, 0.02 - 1.00; boron, 0.50 - 1.50, iron, the balance. Invention provides low porosity of cold resistant steel welded joints operating at temperature no less than -60°C.
EFFECT: improved mechanical characteristics, low trend to porosity of cold resistant steel joints.
