Abstract RU 2302473 C2

FIELD: metallurgy; processing wastes of high-temperature alloys into standard charge billet, more than 1000 mm in length.

SUBSTANCE: metal molten in vacuum induction furnace is poured into metal tube and ingot, 170-190 mm in diameter and 2000-2500 mm in length is obtained. This ingot is subjected to remelting in electric slag chill casting units for production of billets at standard oxygen and nitrogen parameters. Used as high-temperature wastes are wastes of gating system by molten models which contain no ceramics and pouring basins, rejected turbine blades containing ceramics. Proposed method makes it possible to convert ceramics into slag.

EFFECT: enhanced oxygen and nitrogen parameters; enhanced homogeneity of chemical composition of ingots over entire length; reduction of welding electrodes.
