FIELD: microwave power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises setting the material in the metallic chamber, setting the reflector of electromagnetic waves before irradiating the material inside the chamber parallel to the material layer, mounting the microwave emitter from the side of the material to be treated, and irradiating the material by means of generating electromagnetic waves perpendicular to the surface of the material. The sizes of the reflector is no less than the sizes of the material to be treated. The minimum or zero value of the intensity of the radiation reflected from the material is provided by means of adjusting the thickness of the material layer and the distance between the reflector and material to be treated.
