FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to UHF power engineering, and can be used during UHF drying and UHF treatment of the construction materials. Method of UHF-treatment of dielectric materials under first option means, that dielectric material with known dielectric permeability and tangent of angle of dielectric losses is loaded in the metal chamber, is exposed to UHF radiation, at that the dielectric material is located in the metal chamber against and perpendicular to UHF emitter exposing by UHF radiation by supply of the electromagnetic waves at right angle to its surface, selecting dimensions of UHF emitter opening, and reactive component of the input resistance is compensated. Under second option the method means, that dielectric material with unknown dielectric permeability and tangent of angle of losses is loaded in the metal chamber, exposed to UHF radiation, at that the dielectric material is located in the metal chamber against and perpendicular to UHF emitter exposing by UHF radiation by supply of the electromagnetic waves at right angle to its surface, position of waveguide line section is determined, where input resistance is equal to wave resistance, UHF emitter is located at distance divisible by integral value of lengths of half-waves from determined distance between UHF emitter and border between the treated surface of the dielectric material and free space.
EFFECT: minimisation of reflection of UHF emitter electromagnetic waves from layer of dielectric materials, this results in maximum absorption of UHF energy by the dielectric materials, and energy consumption decreasing.
