FIELD: reinforced products manufacture technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technology for the manufacture of reinforced products, and in particular to the electrophysical hardening of finally formed products. A method for strengthening carbon fiber-reinforced polymeric materials based on an epoxy binder includes impregnating a fibrous filler with an epoxy binder, shaping and curing a workpiece when exposed to a magnetic field. Then the final shaping of the product and additional exposure to it after curing by a microwave electromagnetic field with a frequency of 433-2450 MHz with an input radiation power that excludes heating of the product above 35-40°C, during which the antinode of the electromagnetic wave is scanned along the treated surface, ensuring that the impact spot is covered not less than 50%, and the total processing time in each spot of surface irradiation is 1-2 minutes. Before the start of microwave exposure, a metal mesh is placed on the back surface of the product. During processing, the radiating horn is installed in a horizontal plane at such an angle to the grid surface that the reflected electromagnetic wave, having passed through the material being processed, passes by the plane of its opening.
EFFECT: ensuring uniform processing of large-sized products to increase their strength.
