SUBSTANCE: method involves doing the following operations in undiluted nonhemolyzed whole blood: using disposable capillary cells having optical path length less than 1 mm, filling the specified cells with unchanged whole blood sample, carrying out the first absorption measurement on wavelength belonging to bandwidth 490-520 pm directly on sample in the test cell, additionally carrying out the second absorption measurement and processing the first and second absorption measurement results for determining hemoglobin concentration in sample. Processing operation involves light-scattering compensation in sample. The specified compensation depends on result of the second absorption measurement. The system for implementing the specified method is also described.
EFFECT: accelerated analysis method using unchanged whole blood.
