SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for rapid analysis of quantity of sugar in blood. Hexokinase method for non-invasive blood sugar measurement includes preparation of device for blood sugar measurement, which uses sample and reagent, placing them in cuvette for mixing to obtain solution containing conglomerate of reagent with sugar in saliva, which spectral sensitivity is increasing and reaches threshold at two values of 190 nm and 340 nm, installation of cuvette in working instrument, connection of optical radiation source, as well as filter-selector, alternatively directed on quartz cell with said solution, control of optical density with multi-sectional photodetector and determining blood sugar value by processing data on optical density with processor. Sample used is dose of patient's saliva, and reagent is primary conglomerate of “Glucose-UV-Novo” mono reagent, where hexokinase additionally contains diaphorase. Optical radiation source used is diode laser with wavelength range of 170-360 nm, and filter-selector generates light beams with wavelength of 190 nm and 340 nm.
EFFECT: method provides non-invasive determination of sugar in blood, as well as enables simplifying and improving reliability of determination of sugar.
