FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves fixing radiopaque enameled copper wire by means of photohardening bond at the top of jaws and on adjacent internal surface of removable prosthesis base. The enameled wire is 0.2 mm diameter. Then, X-ray picture is taken. Bone tissue atrophy degree is evaluated from the X-ray picture by measuring distance between these two radiopaque enameled wires.
EFFECT: high accuracy in determining atrophy process intensity.
