FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing puncture needle into ganglion cavity under ultrasonic control and sucking out the content. Quartz light guide is introduced into needle lumen, its tip projects for 3-5 mm beyond the needle. Ganglion wall hyperthermia is carried out with laser having wavelength of 810 nm, pulse duration of 0.2-0.5 s and radiation power of 6 W. The treatment is continued until hyperechogenic tissue is formed that covers ganglion capsule. Diode laser apparatus is used as laser radiation source.
EFFECT: reduced risk of traumatic complications; prevented cosmetic defect and postoperative complications occurrence.
