FIELD: composite parts, constructive members and auxiliary devices for hospital beds.

SUBSTANCE: lift designed for critically ill patients has drive and is designed for detachable or non-detachable connection with bed. Lift has supporting platform positioned so as to provide for vertical movement of mattress and made in the form of two symmetrical plates. Plates are fixed on end of rigidly secured parallel rods which are connected with one another and disposed in at least one guide. Rods are oriented at an angle to plane of symmetrical plates and adapted for cooperation with movable spring-loaded levers positioned on columns. Levers are kinematically connected with drive having foot pedal type and/or manual type controlling. Each column has length exceeding total length of half the working stroke of rod and has length of at least one guide. Symmetrical plates and ends of rods on which ends said plates are secured are adapted for location within mattress. Mattress for critically ill patients has bed consisting of movable sections containing filler. Movable sections are connected with one another so as to be rotated and are made in the form of head part of base, supporting part of base, coxofemoral part of base and leg part of base. Filler of at least supporting part of base is made in the form of at least two units which are placed onto one another for cooperation with mating parts between one another and with two symmetrical plates of lifter. Supporting part of base is equipped with means for attachment to bed bottom and is equipped with first portion made in the form of longitudinal cavity for bed-pan. Coxofemoral part has second portion of longitudinal cavity for bed-pan wherein detachable insert is positioned. Detachable insert consists of movable members connected with one another and adapted for first portion of said cavity and for second portion of said cavity, respectively.

EFFECT: simplified construction, improved versatility and accessibility of lifter as well as of mattress, and also convenient medical care for immobile patient with minimum discomfort for the latter and insignificant physical efforts applied by medical personnel.
