FIELD: medicine, urology.
SUBSTANCE: one should introduce an ureteroscope through urethra and urinary bladder to guide a lithotriptor through it up to the stone to destruct this stone; then lithotriptor should be removed and lithoextractor should be introduced into ureteral lumen to evacuate large fragments of the stone. Moreover, through ureteroscope's working canal it is necessary to form a transparent bubble in ureteral lumen near the stone out of viscous, water-soluble and transparent gel. Through this bubble under visual control it is important to capture the stone, then comes lithotripsy and lithoextraction. As viscous, water-soluble and transparent gel, in peculiar case, one should apply "Categel" gel. Especially during lithoextraction this transparent gel should be additionally introduced into ureteral lumen with periodically small portions. The innovation enables to decrease surgical tissue trauma at decreasing the frequency of complications due to improving visualization in area of interference along with increased accuracy and significance of lithotripsy and lithoextraction.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
