FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to urology. A 43 cm long KARL STORZ 7 Ch semi-rigid ureteroscope with a separate irrigation canal is inserted into the bladder. A pressure infusion device with a manometer and Metpak 500 ml Riester cuff is used to inject physiologic saline into the bladder. Cuff pressure makes 100–120 mm Hg. Ureter orifices are visualized, a ureteroscope is inserted into the corresponding ureter along the guide, and the urethroscope is brought to a concrement. Concrement is destroyed and removed, contact lithotripsy is performed with further removal of concrement fragments.
EFFECT: reduced risk of injury and reduced complexity of intervention for removal of concrements from ureter due to possibility of accurate control of irrigation fluid pressure and adequate visualization at the moment of surgical treatment.
