FIELD: the proposed invention refers to radio technique particularly to radiolocation and may be used for increasing accuracy of measuring of the parameters of the field of the collimator on compact radio measuring complexes.

SUBSTANCE: the mode of measuring of the field of a collimator is in forming the spherical field in the focal plane of the collimator, in radiation it with the collimator and in measuring the field reflected by the collimator with the aid of a coordinate scanning machine. After that an additional spherical wave is formed from another point on the focal plane of the collimator in such a way that mixture of the field in the plane of measuring be multiple to the scanning pitch, the field reflected from the collimator is repeatedly measured, on the basis of two measurements estimation of amplitude-phase distribution of the field of the collimator is made with compensation of systematic errors introduced by the coordinate scanning machine.

EFFECT: increases accuracy of measuring of the amplitude-phase distribution of the field of a collimator.
