FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering, namely to antenna measurements, and can be used for measurement and adjustment of antenna patterns of wide class, in particular amplitude-phase distribution of the antenna, adjustment of PAA type antennae on the near field, as well as the possibility of evaluating the quality of the electromagnetic field in several sections of the working zone in conditions of a multifunctional compact polygon. Proposed multifunctional compact polygon comprises collimator with radiator and support rotary device for installation of tested antenna, arranged in anechoic chamber; computational control system; a computer-aided registration centre (CARC), comprising a control PC, equipment for generating and recording microwave signals and a planar scanner for monitoring the quality of the collimator electromagnetic field, mounted on transport paths, which enable to place the scanner in the anechoic chamber along the focal axis of the collimator.

EFFECT: due to use of this device, multifunctional use of scanner and possibility of measurement of antenna patterns of wide class, amplitude-phase distribution (APD) of antenna, adjustment of phased antenna array type (PAA) on near field, as well as provision of electromagnetic field quality assessment in several cross-sections of working zone of multifunctional compact polygon.
