FIELD: separation of liquid from gas-and-liquid flow.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in acceleration of gas-and-liquid flow in tapering passage and taking of liquid film settling on passage wall at the end of passage. Device proposed for realization of this method is made in form of multi-stage taper separator consisting of several stages where liquid is separated from gas-and-liquid flow. Preliminary estimation has demonstrated that three stages of this separator will be sufficient for process. Last stage of multi-stage taper separator is provided with ejector which evacuates gas entrapped by liquid from liquid receiver, thus maintaining the required pressure differential in liquid lines. All lines of separator are provided with adjusting cocks and line draining the liquid receiver is provided with scavenge pump. All electric drives of these units are connected with control measuring unit which is connected in its turn with liquid level sensors provided for liquid receiver, thus making it possible to attain automatic mode of operation of separator. Separator may be controlled manually by indicating the level of liquid in receiver with the aid of graduated tube.
EFFECT: ease of maintenance; reduced radial dimensions; reduced usage of metals.
