FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: tensile-testing machine can be used for inspecting deformations, mechanism of rise and development of cracks onto standard samples with thread heads made of structurally non-uniform and composite materials. Tensile-testing machine has bed, which has to be elastic member offloading device, active and passive sample clamps with threaded heads. Active clamp is made in form of hexahedral bushing with thread and hexahedral support, which has bead at side of bushing. There is convex spherical surface at opposite side of bushing, which surface rests against mating spherical surface of bed. U-shaped groove is made along height of support at radial direction to place sample with threaded heads, one of which heads has flats entering groove of support to prevent turn of support relatively sample. Bed of tensile-testing machine is made in form of rectangular flat hollow frame to have openings for sample disposed in opposition; spherical concave surfaces are made at external sides of openings. Passive clamp is made in form of hexahedral bushing with threaded opening and with convex spherical support surface. Destroy in structure of alloy can be seen of structural non-uniform and composite materials along total perimeter of deformed surface of loaded sample.
EFFECT: simplified design; widened ability of watching deformation processes by means of optical devices.
