FIELD: transport engineering; vehicle antilocking brake systems.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method of braking of vehicle equipped with antilocking brake system comes to provision of pulse pressure reduction in brake cylinders of locked wheels at braking. Antilock brake system is disconnected at straight-ahead driving at application of brakes. Antilocking brake system is connected at braking when negotiating curved sections of road. According to other design versions, at straight-ahead driving number of pressure reduction pulses is reduced as compared with number of pressure reduction pulses at cornering.

EFFECT: improved efficiency of braking under extreme conditions at straight-ahead driving.
