SUBSTANCE: method involves making at least one incision in external eyeball sheath tissues. Cataract is withdrawn and intraocular lens is implanted. Incision walls are closed without placing sutures by producing hydrostatic pressure in external eyeball sheath tissues adjacent to incision walls. Physiologic saline is introduced into the tissues adjacent to incision walls.
EFFECT: reduced risk of postoperative complications; accelerated vision function recovery and social patient rehabilitation.
