FIELD: mechanical engineering; textile industry; noise silencers.
SUBSTANCE: proposed noise suppressor contains housing with in form of cylindrical shell, coaxial intake and outlet branch pipes and resonance insert in form solid of revolution installed coaxially to housing with formation of ring clearance. Said resonance insert made in from of solid of revolution consists of central cylindrical shell, radius R1 and two conical shells, length Hk secured at edges of cylindrical shell. Perforated disks, radius R2 are rigidly secured to conical shells from side of their free planes, and element is installed in middle of resonance insert to increase rigidity of resonance insert, said element is made in form of solid disk. Resonance insert is secured in housing by means of attachment elements made in form of at least one ring with holes. Housing in lined from inside, and resonance insert from outside, with noise absorbing material of thickness h1 and h2, respectively.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of noise damping.
