FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed transformer has cylindrical metal case filled with insulating medium and mounted on supporting/insulating cylindrical shell; case accommodates primary winding in the form of straight conductor and secondary winding built around toroidal magnetic circuits. Windings are enclosed with toroidal shield. The latter is mounted on top end of metal supporting tube with secondary winding leads passes through its inner space. Bottom end of tube is secured on base of metal case perpendicular to secondary-winding axis. Primary winding is installed along secondary-winding axis and its leads are secured on cylindrical wall of metal case. Transformer also has cylindrical insulating column of high-strength material secured within insulating shell coaxially to metal supporting tube. Cylindrical insulating column has great-diameter through hole providing communication of space formed between supporting/insulating shell and cylindrical insulating column with space formed between metal supporting tube and cylindrical insulating column of high-strength material, as well as with inner space of metal case.
EFFECT: simplified design, facilitated manufacture.
