FIELD: high- and superhigh-voltage instrument transformers filled with insulating material. SUBSTANCE: transformer has metal-base mounted porcelain insulating case that accommodates insulating cylinder made of high-strength material which is secured on bottom flange of transformer by means of metal ring and filled with insulating medium; cylinder accommodates rectangular magnetic core with screens closing the yokes, current lead-in metal tube, main and auxiliary low-voltage windings wound on leg, and high-voltage winding placed over main low- voltage winding and covered with electrostatic screen connected to its line lead and made in the form of cylinder with through cut over generating line. EFFECT: improved uniformity of surge voltage pulse distribution over high- voltage winding. 2 dwg
