FIELD: electrical engineering; measuring high and superhigh voltages with insulating filler.
SUBSTANCE: proposed transformer has metal housing installed on cylindrical insulating support and filled with insulating medium. This housing accommodates primary winding in the form of straight conductor and secondary winding wound on toroidal cores. Windings are enclosed by toroidal screen. The latter is secured on upper end of metal supporting tube that passes secondary winding taps. Lower end of tube is secured on metal housing base perpendicular to axis of secondary windings. Primary winding is installed along secondary-winding axis and its ends are secured on side walls of metal housing. Cylindrical insulating column made of high-strength material is mounted inside metal support coaxially to metal tube. Cylindrical insulating column accommodates hollow supporting post built of sections of cylindrical tubes and hollow truncated cones joined together. Ends of column lower base are attached to metal housing base and at the same time to cylindrical insulating column base. Its upper base has hole wherein tube passed through this hole is secured.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability, simplified design, facilitated manufacture.
