FIELD: electrical engineering; current and voltage measurements.
SUBSTANCE: proposed current transformer has metal case filled with insulating medium and mounted on outer cylindrical supporting housing also filled with insulating medium. Case accommodates current-transformer primary and secondary windings. Primary winding is made in the form of linear cylindrical conductor that functions as additional capacitor plate and is electrically connected to metal case. Secondary winding is made of toroidal magnetic circuit enclosed by electrostatic metal screen disposed coaxially to transformer primary winding and secured on top end of supporting tube whose bottom end is mounted on device base. Supporting tube is assembled of metal tube sections fixed together by means of insulating tube section. Supporting tube accommodates taps passed thereto from transformer secondary windings and from toroidal electrostatic metal screen and brought outside through bushing transformers mounted on device base. Cylindrical supporting insulating housing is separated from remaining parts of device by cylindrical insulating column made of high-strength material and disposed coaxially to supporting tube and to cylindrical supporting insulating housing.
EFFECT: ability of integrating current transformer and capacitive divider high-voltage side.
