SUBSTANCE: patients with arterial hypertension (AH) are treated with a drug therapy regimen that includes amlodipine and indapamide. The values of the initial level of SBP and DBP and parameters of vascular wall rigidity are first obtained. The obtained data are entered into the corresponding regression equations for SBP and DBP, and the hypothetical degree of blood pressure reduction is calculated.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to predict the degree of blood pressure reduction in patients with hypertension using pharmacotherapy regimens, including amlodipine and indapamide, in order to increase the effectiveness of drug therapy.
