FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out vitrectomy with posterior hyaloid membrane and interior junction membrane in macular region being removed. Vitreous cavity tamponade is carried out with perfluororganic compound and radial optical neurotomy is to be done on nasal side of optic nerve disk in avascular zone. Panretinal laser coagulation is intravitreally carried out next to it outside of vascular arcades. The central and paracentral retina zones are irradiated with low intensity laser radiation with wavelength of 632-633 nm, power of 5 mW on light guide end and total radiation time of 5-10 min. The perfluororganic compound is substituted with gas. Intravenous laser radiation treatment with low intensity laser radiation with wavelength of 632-633 nm, power of 2.5 mW on light guide is applied once a day in postoperative period beginning from the first day with exposure time equal to 10-15 min. The total number of Intravenous laser radiation treatment course is 5-10 procedures long.

EFFECT: rapid recovery of hemodynamics, hemorrhages and retinal edema resorption; stable improvement of vision function.
