FIELD: medicine equipment, possible use for evacuation of blood, air from pleural cavity, for stretching lung tissue and performing reinfusion of pleural blood for patients with developed early lung-pleural complications in form of hemopneumothorax or hydropneumothorax in case of associated multi-system trauma of chest.

SUBSTANCE: device for draining pleural cavity contains a tube with apertures on working end, one-sided conductance valve and valve cover with filter and elastic container for blood connected to aforementioned valve. Also, device additionally contains second one-sided conductance valve, connected to valve cover with filter, positioned on one axis with the first valve and having the same direction of effect, and a syringe for creating an exhaustion in the system. Both valves and syringe are interconnected by means of a T-shaped pipe.

EFFECT: fast active removal of blood and air from pleural cavity, stretching of lung with the goal of reduction of heavy respiratory and cardiopulmonary decompensation in patients with heavy combined associated multi-system trauma of chest.
