FIELD: chemical industry; pulp and paper industry; other industries; method of purification of the waste waters from the difficult-to-oxidizable organic compounds.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of purification of the waste waters of the chemical, pulp-and-paper and analogous productions containing the difficult-to-oxidizable organic compounds. The method of purification includes the combination of the treatment of the waste waters with the hydrogen peroxide at presence of the ferriferous catalytic agent and the UV-irradiation. The waste waters with the preliminary injected hydrogen peroxide are gated through the admixture of the ferrous chips and the carbon-bearing substance forming the galvanic cell and simultaneously the waste waters are subjected to the irradiation with the low pressure mercury-quartz lamp. The presented method ensures the deep purification of the waste waters from the difficult-to-oxidizable organic compounds, for example, the chlorophenols at the significantly smaller consumption of the hydrogen peroxide due to the intensification of the process provided by the additional UV-irradiation of the reaction mixture. The technical result of the invention also consists in the complete mineralization of the difficult-to-oxidizable organic compounds at the minimum consumption of the oxidizer.
EFFECT: the invention ensures the deep purification of the waste waters from the difficult-to-oxidizable organic compounds such as chlorophenols at the significantly smaller consumption of the hydrogen peroxide and the complete mineralization of the difficult-to-oxidizable organic compounds.
