FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has hollow rod with distal working end, indicator showing penetration into negative pressure cavity and safety lock preventing from puncturing internal organs. The working end of hollow rod is blunt and rounded on perimeter. The negative pressure cavity penetration indicator is available on the proximal end of the hollow rod and produces light- and acoustic signals. The safety lock preventing from puncturing internal organs repels organs and tissues by jet of a liquid under pressure and has syringe, washer, compressed gas cylinder holder, the cylinder for connecting syringe with compressed gas cylinder holder, and pusher having handle for pinning compressed gas cylinder on needle. Alternative safety lock version preventing from puncturing internal organs pushes off organs and tissues with liquids jet under pressure and contains clamp, clamp safety lock and syringe having piston with movable spring-loaded strip placed in grooves.
EFFECT: prevented damage of blood vessels, nerves and soft tissues of thoracic and abdominal cavity walls; reliable indication of needle introduction into abdominal cavity.
