FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, grain throwing technique.

SUBSTANCE: grain thrower has prefabricated housing comprising two sides, cover and walls and accommodating tension drum embraced by endless belt, coil with endless belt running around it, drive drum equipped with shaft and embraced with endless belt on bearing supports within housing sides. Drive drum with shaft is placed within housing sides on bearing supports within which is positioned single-row radial ball bearing having outer ring with spherical surface. Bearing rests with its inner end surface upon mounting split ring made from spring wire which is positioned on radial fillet within bearing casing. Bearing is fit with its outer ring within bearing casing and is fixed by holding-down of split wire ring within cavity between sphere of outer ring of bearing and cylindrical surface of bore in bearing casing. Wire ring is held-down by unbending of thin-walled flange of bearing casing. Flange is divided by slots into four parts, said slots being used as windows for dismantling of split wire ring.

EFFECT: improved operating characteristics, enhanced reliability and simplified maintenance.
