FIELD: valving systems.
SUBSTANCE: wedge gate comprises housing and flexible wedge interposed between the sealing members of the housing. The flexible wedge is made of two conical disks that are interconnected with a pin passing through the central opening in the disks. The collar of the pin cooperates with the inner side of the disk. From the outer side the pin is welded to the disk. The male surface of the disks is conical, or spherical.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
