TUNNEL DRIER Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC F26B9/06 

FIELD: drying of dispersed materials; microbiological, food-processing, chemical and other industries.

SUBSTANCE: proposed tunnel drier has moist material loading bin, drying chamber, calorifier, fans and used air cleaning system. Cars slowly moving over rails along very long rectangular chamber are interconnected through drying chamber housing. Drying chamber is provided with hermetic doors at inlet and outlet which regularly open for loading and unloading the material. Cars are set in motion with the aid of rope and mechanical winch. Fresh air heated in calorifiers is sucked by fans and is fed to drying chamber; used air is evacuated to dust cleaning system provided with acoustic plant and cyclone.

EFFECT: increased productivity of drier.
