LOOP DRIER Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC F26B15/24 

FIELD: drying of dispersed materials; microbiological, food-processing, chemical and other industries.

SUBSTANCE: proposed loop drier has moist material loading unit with screw feeder, drying chamber and used air cleaning system. Drying chamber housing is provided with tape with pressed-in material which forms loops in drying chamber. Screw feeder is used for delivery of material onto endless screened elastic tape running between rolls heated by steam; these rolls force the paste inside tape cells; articulated links of tape and transversal plates located on it at definite intervals rest against chain conveyer. Tape is brought to automatic striking unit by means of guide roller, thus throwing the dried material off the tape and discharging it from drier by means of unloading unit. Air is circulated by means of axial-flow fans; used air is exhausted through dust cleaning system provided with acoustic plant.

EFFECT: increased productivity.
