KNIFE FOR MOUNTING ON ROTARY MOWER, AND COMBINATION OF ROTARY MOWER CASING AND KNIFE Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC A01D34/63 

FIELD: rotary mower knives for mounting on power mowers designed for mowing of grass from beds.

SUBSTANCE: knife has beveled cutting front edge and rear edge. Mower has protective housing defining outer closing member for knife. Knife rear edge has upwardly directed inclined portion provided on outermost end of rear edge and is adapted for declining of air flow upward, into protective housing. Mulching teeth arranged inside relative to inclined portion are adapted for mulching. Teeth extend upward from knife surface at an angle of about 60 deg. There is mounting opening in central part of knife. Mower knife construction enables filling of bag for catching of grass or mulching of mown grass when necessary.

EFFECT: creation of modified mower knife comprising combination of mulching teeth and inclined portion on rear edge.
