FIELD: medicine, forensic medicine.
SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to carry out roentgenography of frozen cadaver's head in straight and lateral projections to detect separation of cranial sutures and the edges of cranial fractures. Then one should fulfill accelerated defrosting with the flow of warm water followed by internal cranial studying. In case of no hemorrhages in the sites of fractures one should diagnose postmortem lesion. In case of such hemorrhages one should state upon intravitam lesion. The method suggested enables to provide qualitative procedure of expertise of cadaver's cranium and detect postmortem cranial lesions by differentiating them against intravitam ones.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of detection.
