FIELD: rubber industry; paint and varnish industry; other industries; devices for production and application of the carbon black.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the installation for production of the carbon black. The invention may be used at heat recovery of the natural gas-black carbon mixture for preheating of the technological air in production of the black carbon. The installation includes: the horizontal cylindrical reactor with the tools for supply of the fuel, air, raw and water; the fitting pipe (6) for withdrawal of the natural gas-black carbon mixture. The reactor is attached with the overheater of the air (8) consisting of two vertical coaxially arranged metal pipes - the internal heat-resistant pipe (17), and the external pipe (19). Between the pipes (17) and (19) there is the sealed intertubular cavity (21). The upper parts of the pipes (17) and (19) are coupled among themselves by means of the compressor (20). The external surface of the internal heat-resistant pipe (17) is supplied with the longitudinal ribs (18). The intertubular cavity (21) is divided by two erect metallic partitions. One end of each partition is welded to the heat-resistant pipe (17), and the other end enters into the labyrinth seals mounted on the internal surface of the external pipe (19) and on the bottom of the sealed intertubular cavity (21). The altitude of the partitions makes 2/3-5/6 of the length of the internal heat-resistant pipe and 4/5-9/10-th of the length of the longitudinal ribs. Above the overheater (8) there is the mounted recuperative shell-and-pipe shaped heat exchanger (12). The inter-pipe space of the heat exchanger (12) is connected to the source of the atmospheric free air and by means of the heated air withdrawal fitting pipe - with the overheater (8), which further is connected to the tools for feeding of the overheated air into the reactor. The overheater (8) whole height is concluded in the body (24) lined with the refractory material (25) and separated from it by the annular space (26). The invention allows to heat up the air coming into the reactor up to 800-900°C, to simplify erection of the installation, to increase stability of the design and the efficiency of the production process.
