AB CLASS DIFFERENTIAL AMPLIFIER Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC H03F3/45

Abstract RU 2307459 C1

FIELD: radio-engineering and communication for usage in analog microchip structures.

SUBSTANCE: differential amplifier contains first input differential cascade (1) based on n-p-n input transistors (2,3), first inverting adder of cophased signals (4), inputs (5) and (6) of which are connected to collectors of input n-p-n transistors (2) and (3), and output (7) is connected to input (8) of first voltage repeater (9), cophased outputs of which (10) and (11) are connected to emitters of input transistors (2) and (3). Second differential cascade (12) based on p-n-p input transistors (13) and (14) is introduced to the circuit as well as second inverting adder of cophased signals (15), inputs of which (16) and (17) are connected to collectors of input p-n-p transistors (13) and (14), and output (18) is connected to input (19) of second voltage repeater, cophased outputs of which (20) and (21) are connected to emitters of input p-n-p transistors (13) and (14), while between output (7) of first (4) and output (18) of second (15) inverting cophased signal adders an additional resistor (22) is coupled, while inputs of second input differential cascade (12) are connected to inputs of first input differential cascade (1), output (7) of first inverting cophased signal adder (4) is connected to input (8) of first voltage repeater (9) through first dipole of shifting circuit (23), while output (18) of second inverting cophased signal adder (15) is connected to input (19) of second voltage repeater through second dipole of shifting circuit (24).

EFFECT: expanded range of active operation.
