FIELD: railway transport; electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to voltage control and it can be used in dc railway supply devices. Proposed system contains transformer whose secondary winding has at least three taps, contact wire, traction rail, rectifier unit consisting of three groups, each including three rectifiers. Anode of first rectifier of first group is connected with beginning of traction rail, and its cathode is connected with anode of second rectifier of the same group and, at least, with one of taps of transformer secondary winding and, cathode of second rectifier of first group is connected with beginning of contact wire. Second and third taps of transformer secondary winding are connected with first ends of power transmission line, second end of each being connected with anode of one rectifier and cathode of other rectifier of each of two remaining groups (second and third groups). Cathode of first rectifier of second group is connected with cathode of first rectifier of third group and end of contact wire, and anode of second rectifier of second group is connected with anode of second rectifier of third group and is connected to end of traction rail.

EFFECT: improved reliability of power supply owing to increase of voltage across current receiver of electric locomotive.
