FIELD: stomatology.
SUBSTANCE: one compares amplitudes of test sugar (Ac) and urea (Ak) before and after use of antimicrobial agent (ΔAs=A10-A2s and ΔAu=A1u-A2u). Test sugar pH curves are obtained by stimulating acid-producing mouth cavity microflora with 47% saccharose solution and urea pH curves are obtained by stimulating ammonia-producing microflora with 8% urea solution. Individual feature of sensitivity of mouth microflora to antimicrobial agents associated with its qualitative composition is determined from asymmetry coefficient obtained from formula: Ka = ΔAu/ΔAs and individual feature associated with its quantitative composition is determined from coefficient of prevailing effect obtained from formula: Kpe = [(A1u+A1s)/2]/[(A2u+A2s)/2]. Coefficient values are then compared with reference values obtained from reference group and individual sensitivities of mouth microflora to antimicrobial agents are estimated as difference of these values.
EFFECT: accelerated estimation and enabled differentiation of estimation according to qualitative and quantitative characteristics.
