FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves determining superoxide dysmutase and catalase activity in oral fluid supernatant collected without stimulation during 30 min. Coefficient Kp value is calculated from formula Kp= (CAT2*100/SOD2):(CAT1*100/SOD1), where CAT is oral fluid catalase activity (mccat/l), SOD is the oral fluid superoxide dysmutase activity (u/mg of protein), 1 is the index before treatment, 2 is the index after treatment. Kp value being equal to or greater than 1.0, the treatment is considered to be ineffective, otherwise it is thought to be effective.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment success evaluation; accelerated study.
