FIELD: thermal imaging, namely, transformation of infrared radiation of the object being observed to video image, possible use for night vision in military equipment, guarding systems, police, and other areas of human activity.
SUBSTANCE: thermal imaging transformer includes infrared radiation receiver block and electronic signal processing block, which contains plates with electronic signal processing boards held on them and the body made along its longitudinal axis in form of separate mechanically interconnected sections. Each plate is mounted inside one of the body sections, and electronic signal processing boards are interconnected by quick-dismountable connections. In each section of the body, a unit for draining heat from electronic signal processing boards is installed, made of elastic heat-conductive isolation material in form of an insert which fills all free space between internal walls of body section. As elastic heat-conductive isolation material, two-component heat-conductive isolating backfill compound is used, and sections of the body in the plane perpendicular to its longitudinal axis may have both round and square cross-section.
EFFECT: reduced of time and effort spent on repairs of thermal imaging transformer, improved heat drain from circuitry of electronic signal processing block, increased vibration hardness thereof, reduced costs of heat drain manufacture.
