FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Proposed mill comprises foundation plate to support three-roll stands with rolls with their axes arranged around the circumference at 120° to each other, upper drive secured on the frame at the angle to vertical line and two rolls lateral drives. The C-shape frame supporting upper drive is rigidly attached to foundation plate. Said frame and said foundation plate are furnished with vertical and horizontal guides in contact with rolling stands. Upper drive is inclined at 0-20° to vertical line.
EFFECT: higher stiffness of mill structure, reduced crosswise sizes.
