FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to form a surface T-shaped scleral fragment, its bottom being towards the limbus. Then one should fulfill two through vertical incisions of scleral bed in its distal part. At the bottom of scleral fragment one should dissect the stripe of trabecular tissue. With the help of a spatula one should carry out cyclodialysis via through incisions. The ends of T-shaped fragment should be applied into suprachoroidal space. The innovation enables to obtain stable hypotensive effect in patients with primary open-angle glaucoma and avoid the development of ciliochoroidal detachment.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
