FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Surgical treatment of open-angle glaucoma is performed, non-penetrating deep sclerectomy is performed, involving formation of a conjunctival flap, cutting out a superficial scleral flap in the form of a trapezium with thickness of ⅓ of the sclera with a larger base at the limb and a smaller base on the side of the equator of the eye, removal of middle layers of sclera to exposure of inner layers of corneoscleral part of trabecula and peripheral part of Descemet's membrane. Middle layers of the sclera are removed completely, in the area of the scleral bed from the deep layers of the sclera to the ciliary body, a U-shaped flap is formed, the base facing the arch, which after preliminary cyclodialysis is filled in suprachoroidal space towards equator. Two strips 1.5 mm wide are formed from the surface sclera flap by way of an incision to the base from each of its two lateral edges, after which the strips are laid diagonally, fixing each with a suture to the opposite edge of the scleral bed crosswise, wherein one of them is placed on the scleral bed under the superficial scleral flap, and the other, on the opposite side, after its reposition above it. In a particular case, a superficial scleral flap is formed with a larger base of 5.0 mm and a smaller base of 3 mm.

EFFECT: method enables improving functional results due to intraocular pressure compensation and prolonged maintenance of normalization of ophthalmotonus.
