FIELD: veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with the way for obtaining the extracts of natural mixture of conjugated estrogens out of pregnant mare urine (PMU). The extracts that contain the mixture of conjugated estrogens should be isolated out of PMU due to solid-phase extraction upon semipolar adsorbing resins. The extracts obtained due to the above-mentioned technique correspond to necessary pharmaceutical specifications concerning the properties of conjugated estrogens and minimization of free estrogens content even during processing either stale PMU and/or that stored or transported under conditions of increased temperatures.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
