FIELD: silicon compounds.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to preparation of silicas modified with organic and organosilicon compounds. Organosilica preparation method comprising synthesis of silica from silicon tetrachloride, cooling synthesis products, precipitating silica from synthesis products, additionally purifying silica with inert gas to remove gaseous synthesis products, modifying silica with organic or organosilicon compounds by way of treating silica with vapors of indicated compounds mixed with inert gas, precipitating thus formed organosilica from modification products, and additionally purifying organosilica with inert gas to remove gaseous modification products is characterized by that synthesis of silica is accomplished by oxidation of silicon tetrachloride with oxygen at 1000 to 2100°C and silicon tetrachloride-to-oxygen molar ratio between 1.0 and 3.0.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of and simplified organosilica preparation procedure.
