FIELD: electric power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in power engineering for removal of glaze ice from overhead transmission lines. Proposed device comprises impact element representing set of fiberglass rods (1, 2, 3, 4) connected in series. With one end (5) rods (1, 2, 3, 4) are connected to motor cartridge (6) with drive (7), and at the other end they end with impact tip (8). At actuation of motor with drive (7) when button (9) is pressed, motor cartridge (6) with drive (7) reciprocates, transmitted to rods (1, 2, 3, 4), which are closed by casing composed of several tubes (10, 11, 12, 13) to ensure safety during operation and alignment of rods (1, 2, 3, 4) relative to longitudinal axis of movement. To simplify assembly of rods (1, 2, 3, 4) and pipes (10, 11, 12, 13), casings have annular marking as to type one ring is welded to one ring of the next rod, two rings are welded to two rings of the next rod, etc. e.g. To whip the ice, the device is to be brought up with shock tip (8) to ice-covered wire (14), to activate the device operation, holding it behind the rods casing till the glaze ice is completely released from the overhead power transmission line wire.
EFFECT: raised efficiency and reliability of ice removal from wires.
