FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, namely to tool materials of high heat resistance used for production of cast dies of hot deformation. Molding alloy for making cast tool operating under conditions of temperature-force action contains, wt%: carbon 0.30÷0.60, nitrogen 0.05÷0.20, chromium 5.0÷13.0, nickel 7.0÷15.0, molybdenum 4.0÷8.0, silicon 0.8÷1.5, titanium 0.5÷1.0, aluminum 0.5÷1.0, boron 0.3÷0.8, manganese 0.25÷0.5, sulfur 0.007÷0.017, phosphorus 0.010÷0.018, oxygen 0.0027÷0.0051, hydrogen 0.0002÷0.0007, iron – balance, wherein it has composite structure consisting of iron-nickel martensite hardened with fine carbon-boron-nitride and intermetallic phases Me23(C,B)6, Me7(C,B)3, Ni3Ti, Ni3Al, TiN, AlN, CrN, Fe2Mo, and boron eutectic Me2B, where Me is Mo and Ti.
EFFECT: die alloy with high quality by content of harmful impurities is characterized by high strength, achieving maximum hardening at temperatures of up to 500–550 °C, as well as high heat resistance and wear resistance in conditions of temperature-force action at temperatures of up to 700 °C.
