FIELD: oil producing industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for use in pumping units for maintaining formation pressure in oil fields. Proposed pumping unit contains pumps, mainly piston and plunger type, with inputs and outputs, electric motor, high-pressure compensator and common suction and delivery pipelines. Electric motor has two output shafts connected with shafts of pumps installed for rotation at preset phase shift relative to each other. High pressure compensator is made in form of resonator. Inputs of pumps are connected directly with common suction pipeline and outputs are connected with resonator to which common delivery pipeline is connected.
EFFECT: improved operating characteristics, increased reliability of pumping unit owing to elimination of nonuniformity in delivery and reduction of pressure fluctuation, reduced overall dimensions and mass of pumping unit.
